Getting Started with Bandog

Learn how to use Bandog to manage your contracting business

Welcome to Bandog

This tutorial will walk you through the essential features of Bandog and help you get your contracting business organized in no time.

1. Setting Up Your Account

After logging in for the first time:

  1. Complete your business profile with your company name and contact information
  2. Set up your billing preferences and payment methods
  3. Customize your invoice templates with your logo and branding

2. Adding Services

Set up your services first so they're ready when creating jobs:

  1. Navigate to the Services section from your dashboard
  2. Click "Add Service" to create a new service offering
  3. Enter the service name, description, and default pricing
  4. Save your services so they populate automatically when creating jobs
  5. Update or modify services anytime as your business evolves

3. Managing Jobs

Create and track jobs to stay organized:

  1. Click "New Job" from your dashboard
  2. Enter job details: client name, project description, start date, and budget
  3. Select from your pre-populated services list
  4. Update job status as you progress (In Progress, Completed, etc.)
  5. Track time and expenses for each job

4. Creating Invoices

Get paid faster with professional invoices:

  1. Navigate to the Invoices section
  2. Click "Create Invoice" and select the client and job
  3. Add line items for services, materials, and expenses
  4. Review and send the invoice directly to your client
  5. Track payment status and send reminders for overdue invoices

5. Managing Clients

Keep all your client information in one place:

  1. Add new clients with contact details and billing addresses
  2. View job history and invoices for each client
  3. Track communication and notes

6. Using the Import Feature

Seamlessly transition your existing data into Bandog:

  1. Click the Import button in your dashboard
  2. Upload CSV files, Excel spreadsheets, or photos
  3. Our AI-powered backend automatically reads and organizes your data
  4. Data is intelligently routed to the correct location—clients, jobs, invoices, or expenses
  5. Review the imported data and make any necessary adjustments

7. Financial Reporting

Understand your business performance:

  1. View your dashboard for real-time revenue, profit, and outstanding invoices
  2. Generate monthly or yearly financial reports
  3. Track expenses and budget vs. actual spending
